SHADOWLINE'S FABRICS

Cotton Interlock Knit:
100% cotton interlock knit with a bio-wash finish that adds to the beauty of fine quality combed cotton.
A quality fabric that is soft and silky to wear.

Cotton/Soybean Knit:
A wonderful new fabric made of 50% cotton and 50% soybean that babies your skin.
Soft and comfortable to wear day or night, the fabric evaporates moisture and dries quickly so you always feel cool and dry.
The amino acids in the soybean protein fiber activate the collagen in your skin, which soothes your skin.

Cotton/Soybean/Spandex:
A blend of 47% cotton, 47% soybean and 6% spandex results in a wonderful fabric with the feel of cashmere.
It is naturally bacteria resistant, evaporates moisture quickly for a cool, dry feeling, plus it is completely bio-degradable.
This exciting new fabric is ultra soft and the spandex adds the comfort of stretch.

Diamond Quilted Knit:
A soft, comfortable, diamond jacquard knit of 80% cotton and 20% polyester that is soft and comfortable.

Nylon/Spandex (77%/23%):
Soft, silky and sensuous, 77% nylon and 23% spandex fabric made from fine micro denier yarns results in a most luxurious fabric.
Light weight with abundant stretch across the width and length of the fabric allows for the ultimate in comfort.

Nylon/Spandex (85%/15%):
A light weight stretch tricot fabric used in panties and daywear with a soft matte finish
made of 85% nylon and 15% spandex for comfortable form fitting and light shaping.

Opacitrique ^®:
A fine gauge 100% nylon tricot fabric used in daywear and sleepwear
with a special soft matte finish for unparalleled opacity.

Pointelle Knit:

A lighter weight stretch tricot fabric used in sleepwear with a soft lustrous sheen
made of 84% nylon and 16% spandex for easy form fitting comfort.

Soft and sumptuous lightweight 100% polyester velour offers comfort and beauty.

Waffle Knit:
A soft, comfortable, lightweight waffle knit fabric of 60% cotton and 40% polyester in a perfect weight for robes.
The subtle texture adds interest to the fabric surface.

All fabrics are listed as easy care, machine wash warm, tumble dry low.
Delicate cycle recommended. Do not iron Nylon/Spandex (77%/23%).

SHADOWLINE SIZES

To achieve the best fit, you should know your body measurements and match them to Shadowline's sizing guide below.
Measure around your body at fullest part of bust, keeping tape under arms and fairly level front to back.
(Larger busted women will have a more accurate reading if a bra is worn during measurement.)
Measure around your hips at the fullest spot (approx. 9" below waist). Stand with heels together.

How to Get the Correct Size:

Measure your body and find measurements in chart at top.
Follow that straight down to find the best Shadowline size for you.
Bust measurements are more important for garments with looser, flowing bottoms such as gowns or sleepshirts.
Hip measurements are more important for garments with closer fitting bottoms like slips and pajamas.
If one of your measurements falls in a larger size or you prefer very loose garments, you may be more comfortable in a larger size.
Shadowline sizes their apparel for generous comfort, so if you prefer your clothing snug, you may prefer a smaller size.
Slip lengths are measured from the waist down; nightgowns and sleepshirts, from the shoulder down.
Bra size is NOT the same thing as bust size.
You can convert by adding bra size (i.e., 34, 36, etc.) to cup size in inches
(A=1", B=2", C=3", D=4", DD=5") (i.e., 34C Bra=37" Bust)
but measuring is the most accurate method.
